Sensors with no battery
Our battery-free sensing products run on harvested RF energy alone. They need RF energy harvesting, ultra-low-power electronics, antenna design, embedded firmware and application software to work as one.
Use them as products, or talk to us about the system behind them.

KL-OSIRIS
Multiplatform software to evaluate SenseID, SenseBLE and SenseNFC tags. Free: it detects and connects the readers to your computer, shows the sensor data on screen and saves it to .csv files.
Software development kitSenseID SDK
Libraries to build your own applications on our evaluation tags, in .NET and Python. Free, and public on GitHub under the MIT licence.
Where battery-free makes sense
Busbar temperature monitoring
Real-time temperature monitoring of switchgear busbars, with no wires and no batteries, to catch overheating before it starts a fire.
Battery-free fitDoes your asset need battery-free?
Sealed for life, buried, or too many to maintain batteries: battery-free may be the only option. If you can power it or reach it, it probably isn’t worth it.

A different sensor or magnitude?
The three families work with external sensors, so the boards are examples of what the technology can do. If you need to measure something else, we can build it on the same technology. For a new battery-free sensor, the first step is a Feasibility Study, typically four to five weeks.
Every board can be ordered as an evaluation kit for 50 €. Prices for volume orders can get lower than 10 € per unit.
